Zarząd ISOC Polska zgłasza kandydaturę Jacka Gajewskiego do
Rady doradczej domeny .org Public Interest Registry (PIR):

Dr Jacek Gajewski, is one of the founding fathers of the Internet in Poland.

He has founded the Polish ISOC chapter and the ISOC European
Coordination Council (ISOC-ECC).

In the early days of the Polish Internet he closely collaborated with
Mr Irek Neska from NASK and John Postel in the creation of Polish cTLD
and the .pl registrar. Over years he maintained contacts ISOC, ICANN,
Afilias and PIR.

Currently he cooperates with Veni Markovski (ICANN) in his work in the
region of Central Europe and Central Asia. Dr Gajewski serves as a
liason between the West and the underrepresented regions of the Central
Asia. Earlier he consulted Azerbaijan and Moldova in their trial to
re-establish the governance over their country-level domain names.

Dr Gajewski for many years was managing several Polish and international
non-government ogranizations and serves currently as a Secretary General
of an international association of academic networks (CEENet).

He is a coordinator of various ICT projects run by NGOs in Central and
Eastern Europe.
